Beverly Joyce Smith's Obituary
Beloved Beverly Joyce Smith, 81, born to Swedish immigrants Algot and Signe Gradin in Minnesota on Nov.16, 1928. She passed into the arms of Jesus on May 14, 2010, with her devoted husband, Darrel by her side. Beverly moved to California about 1955. She worked as an executive secretary at Norton Air Force Base and Sages Complete Market. A Highland resident for 47 years, Beverly was active in TOPS and Silver Sneakers. She was gifted with plants, animals, and especially people. Honoring her memory are her devoted husband of 47 years, Darrel; daughter Carol with husband Alan Montgomery; daughter, Jeanne Miller; and five grandchildren--Eric, Ryan, Kevin Montgomery, Amy Lindengren, and Michaela Miller. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Bobbitts. Interment to follow at Montectio Memorial Park, Colton, CA.
