Betty Sue Canada's Obituary
Betty Sue Canada how can I in just a few lines summarize a beautiful life, well here goes. Betty Sue has been in the Inland Empire since the 1930's and very active in her community through the Junior Women's Club in Rialto and The Gypsy Tolers. She and her husband Ervin of 55 years (passed in 2004); through their love of antiques and music boxes traveled the USA and world and become members of the Music Box Society and AMICA. Their love of family led them to adopt their son Rod in Germany when Betty and Ervin were there for his army service. The adopted their daughter Cherie after their return to add to the love in their family. Then along came Diane the child who she wasn't suppose to be able to have. She was kept busy not only helping at the business but with the children. They always made family time taking family trips to the Colorado River and flying from Mexico to Canada. She was always on top of organizing, corralling the kids and packing for the adventures. She had a long and beautiful life.
She is survived by three children: Rod and Debbie Canada of Redlands, Cherie Elliott of San Bernardino, Diane and Cornell Lemons of Riverside. 8 Grandchildren: Matt, Jeff, John, Christina, Michael, Aaron, Jackie, Teri. 7 Great-grandchildren: Mikaela, Kiera, Zoey, Ronin, Jonathan, Carter & Kate. A visitation will be held on March 18, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. The funeral service will be March 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. both at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mt. View Memorial Park.
