Barbara Ann Stewart's Obituary
Barbara Ann Stewart, age 71, passed away on July 7, 2006 peacefully in her sleep. She was born in San Bernardino, CA at Saint Bernardine Hospital to John and Mary McAdams. Barbara was employed by San Bernardino City United School District for over 40 years. She started out as a secretary and worked her way up to the head of purchasing for the school district. Barbara loved to paint, knit, dance, write poems, and travel. She began tap dancing in her 50’s something she always wanted to learn. Her survivors include her loving husband, Donald, of 52 years, her daughter Terry and husband, Scott Izen, her son, Robert and wife Erin Stewart, her sister, Betty, 5 grandchildren, Ryan, Brett, Courtney, Jillian and Claire. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino with a rosary to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, 9:00 a.m. at St. Adelaide Catholic Church, 27457 Base Line, Highland, CA. Interment to follow at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA. at 11:15 a.m. staging area #2.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2930 E. Inland Empire Blvd., Suite 101, Ontario, Ca. 91764.
