Barbara Marlene Hall was born December 7,1933, in Blackwater, North Dakota. Barbara was the only daughter to Mathias and Freada Putz. After journeying through the United States with her family, at the end of World War II, in the late 1940's, came to Los Angeles and finally settled in San Bernardino in 1950. Barbara attended and graduated from St. Bernardine Catholic High School in 1952. After graduation and business school Barbara took civilian personnel job at Norton Air Force Base.
While working as a finance clerk, she met and married her husband, Stanley, who worked as a civilian Inventory Specialist. Together they had two children a daughter, Kimberly and a son, Michael. In 1979 Barbara retired as a homemaker to take care for family. In 1997 after Barbara's husband Stanley passed, she continued to serve her faith and sever in the catholic church as a long-time dedicated choir member.
In 2016, Barbara’s health no longer permitted her to continue her church activities.
Barbara was a loving grandmother and was able to watch her granddaughter Leah, grow into a beautiful purpose driven young lady and a grandson Jordan, a handsome hard working young man, until she passed away February 24, 2024 at the age of 90 at Saint Bernardine Medical Center, with her family surrounding her bedside. Barbara will me greatly missed by all her family and friends.
