Chief Cocke was truly a fine man, a gentleman and a dedicated individual who served our community over many decades. He and Pat hold a special place in our minds and hearts and will always be with us, from those early days, throughout his service with the SBPD and for the many years after. Truly a great loss both personally and for San Bernardino.

I first met Warren when he was the Stater Bros Director of Security...and I was with RIverside PD...First impressions sustained him...He was a remarkable, impressive and accomplished man.

John and I were so sad to learn of Warren's passing. He has been a part of John's life forever and mine for over twenty years. He always had a smile and kind word for everyone he met and he was truly a wonderful man. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
