Anthony (Tony) Rene Morris' Obituary
Anthony (Tony) Rene Morris, was born on September 22, 1952 and went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2020. Tony resided in San Bernadino, California. He was preceded into Heaven by his mother, Barbara Ransom-Moore and his father, Rene Morris.
Tony “Tony de Dico”, is survived by his brother, Bruce Buckner “Noo Deedle Dee” (Susan) and sisters, Fabienne Rauch “Dada’s Girl” (Peter), Sandra Livingston “Cha Cha Mama” (George) and Serena Gillis “Si Serene” (Curtis), along with a whole host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a beautiful, sweet soul with a pure heart, having never sinned against another. Tony was always happy, clapping, smiling and even dancing. He loved Mexican food and he loved ice cream. He was a shining light to his family and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. One of the ways Tony expressed his love was by touching a loved one’s ear. On the day of his passing, connected by the Holy Spirit, it was though Tony somehow said goodbye when on the other side of the country, Fabienne’s daughter, Lauren touched her ear, never having done this before. Fabienne was reminded of her brother and shared the sentiment with her daughter. She was happy to know that Tony said goodbye to her through her daughter. On this same day, Tony’s big brother Bruce noticed a light in his home that would not turn off. Bruce would later see this as a symbolic reminder of Tony’s light that will always remain. The bond of two brothers came full circle.
We will miss you deeply and we will love you forever, Tony. Until we meet again Brother, here are the words your sister Fabienne always sang to you, “Tony de Dico, Tony my love, Tony I love you, all the day long.”
