Anneliese was born on June 22, 1940, in Ulm, Germany. She later made a life in the United States, spending 54 years in Highland, California, where she built a home filled with love, strength, and dedication to her family.
Anneliese will be remembered for her resilience, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She carried a quiet strength and grace throughout her life, creating a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
Her presence brought comfort, stability, and kindness, and her legacy lives on through the family she cherished so deeply.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Mauk, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage—a lifelong partnership built on love, commitment, and family.
She is survived by her children, Angela Morris (Ken) and Jimmy Mauk Jr. (Stephanie); her 6 grandchildren; and her 9 great-grandchildren.
Anneliese’s greatest joy was her family, and she took immense pride in watching it grow across generations. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave and the lives she touched.
