Amelia L. Hernandez, 89, a long time East Highlands, CA resident went to be with her Lord on Thursday, May 05, 2011 in Redlands, CA. She is survived by her children, Joe (Rachel) Hernandez of Sacramento, Susan (Richard) Plasencia of Redlands, Nicholas (June) Hernandez of Highland, Monica Mortan of Yucaipa, Patricia Hernandez of San Bernardino, Angelina (Dean) Canada of Roseville. Amelia was preceded in death by her son Anthony Hernandez on Sept. 24, 2010. He leaves behind his wife, Kim, who is Amelia’s dtr. in law. She also is survived by her by her 17 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandaughter, 2 sisters, Rachel Reyes and Narcissa Perez.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, 1299 E. Highland Ave. San Bernardino, CA with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at St. John’s Bosco Catholic Church, East Highland’s CA. Interment to follow at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, CA at 12:30 p.m.
