Amadeo Joseph Nocchi
Amadeo Joseph Nocchi, 57, passed away October 12, 2011 in Wilkes-Barre, PA after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born November 11, 1953, in Tae Bong Dong, South Korea, he was the oldest of seven children born to Gene and Regina (Jung Soon) Nocchi of San Bernardino, CA. He was a graduate of San Gorgonio High School in San Bernardino, CA. in 1971 and continued his education at San Bernardino Valley College, where he studied music.
Throughout his life he resided in Highland, CA. and Freeland, PA. Amadeo was a member of Pocono Community Church in PA and will forever be remembered by his family and friends for his love of playing the guitar and writing music.
He was predeceased by his brother Robert Lee Nocchi.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his daughter Brandy Peters, and grand-daughters Chloe and Brooklyn, of Wapwallopen, PA and his son Shawn Dinkelacker of Lake Elsinore, CA. Also surviving are brothers, Tino Nocchi of White Haven, PA; Nicholas Nocchi of Santa Clara, UT; and Paul Nocchi of Calimesa; and sisters, Trese Weaver of Highland and Kimberly Wyman of Yucaipa.
Amadeo’s body will be laid to rest at Pioneer Memorial Cemetery in San Bernardino, CA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held Saturday, October 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel San Bernardino, 1499 E. Baseline Street, San Bernardino, CA 92410.
