Alma "Penny" Thompson's Obituary
Alma “Penny” Thompson (93) passed away October 19, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born 09/06/1924 in Middletown, Ohio. She and her husband, Howard, who preceded her in death, moved to CA in 1953 where they resided in Rialto and Yucaipa. Penny was a member of the First Christian Church “Disciples of Christ” of San Bernardino for 64 years. She was a RN at Riverside Community Hospital throughout her nursing career. She loved sewing, crafts, painting, and was very involved in the church activities as her health permitted. Penny is survived by her Daughters; Judie Patton (Michael), Cathy Price (Harley), Penny Carr (Mark) and Son, James Thompson and Grandchildren; Terry, Stacia, Cameron, Bridget, Kelly and Keith. Penny’s family will miss her loving heart and sweet caring spirit.
