Alice Catherine Eberhard's Obituary
Alice Catherine Eberhard passed away on January 22, 2025, in Redlands, California. Born
on June 16, 1936, in Duluth, Minnesota, as Alice Mosher, she was the oldest of six children,
including her brothers and sisters Ann, John, Bob, Susie, and Gilbert. The Mosher family
moved to Miami, Florida, before settling in Sacramento, California. There Alice became a
registered nurse, a profession that suited her abundant ability to empathize with anyone,
including patients, family and friends. While a nurse in Sacramento, Alice met Mike
Eberhard, who was her patient, and they married shortly after. They had six children
including Holly, Tom, Steve, and Mary in Sacramento, and later moved to Southern
California, where Amy and Ali were born. Alice was also grandmother to Jamie, Hannah,
Lexie, Mandy, Aryan, Holden, and Skyler, and great grandmother to Max and Leo, as well as
mother-in law to Rosie, Dave, and Scott. Alice was a true “people person,” who always
thought of others first, was a wonderful communicator, and loved with all her heart. She
was an avid reader, a bridge player, and a sun lover, and was truly led by her love for
humanity, especially her devotion to, and love for, her family and friends.
