Alfred Joseph Fletcher Jr.'s Obituary
Al Fletcher, 84, passed away July 11, 2010, at Waterman Convalescent in San Bernardino. Al was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and was a resident of San Bernardino for 52 years. He was a Vice President for Bank of America for 15 years and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral. He was a U.S Army Air Corp Veteran, member of San Bernardino Masonic Lodge, Shrine Club, Scottish Rite and AOPA. He served as past Police Commissioner. Al is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Fletcher; son, Alfred J. Fletcher, III of Edison, NJ; 2 brothers, Richard L. Fletcher of Oceanside and Lawrence H. Fletcher of San Bernardino; 2 sisters, Joan M. Bush and Marilyn A. Gnagy, both of Huntington Beach; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A rosary will be held, Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. The Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m., both at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N. Arrowhead Avenue.
