August 24, 1946 - May 28, 2020
Rose Elisarraraz, 73, of San Bernardino, CA passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020. She was proceeded in death by her two sons, Louis and John Elisarraraz, her father Pedro Ledesma, and her siblings Miguel, Miguel, Biatriz, and Juan. Rose is survived by her husband, Louis Elisarraraz of San Bernardino, married for 53 years; her daughter Anne Young of Redlands, CA and son Daniel J. Elisarraraz of San Francisco, CA; grandchild Jacob Martinez of Redlands, CA; great-grandson Noah Martinez of Redlands, CA; her mother Maria Ledesma; and 10 sisters, Ramona Ledesma, Clara Penunuri, Marina Espejel, Lena Ramos, Margarita Proctor, Lucia Duran, Mary Casillas, Celia Suchil, Alice Ramos, and Eva Siegfried; 32 nieces and nephews; 52 great nieces and nephews; and 4 great-great nieces and nephews. Rose was a proud American citizen born August 24, 1946 in Pastor Ortiz, Michoacán, Mexico. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. She had a vivacious and outgoing personality, always making the stranger feel as though they were a long-time friend, comforting those around her, and reaching out to help anyone in need. She was a survivor that lived through unimaginable tragedies of life. Despite such tragedies, she smiled every day, was infectiously optimistic and compassionate towards others, she was always grateful for the little things in life, and drew her immense strength from her love and faith in Jesus Christ. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” She will be greatly missed by all! Because space is very limited due to Covid-19, we respectfully as for your assistance and patience in assuring that the immediate family and sisters are allowed seating at the services, which will take place on Tuesday, June 23 at 10:00 AM at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, followed by interment at Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary at 11:30 am.
