CMSGT Nicholas A. Molisani, 87, entered into the Lord’s presence on Nov. 28, 2017. Born Feb. 28, 1930, to Joseph & Catherine Molisani in Clyde, NY. He, along with his six siblings grew up in Clyde until December 4, 1947, when he dropped out of high school to enlist in the Air Force at age 17. He loved serving our country and as a crew chief-maintenance division, he flew many strategic air missions. He was a veteran of the Korean & Vietnam wars. He earned many medals, most notably the Bronze Star for his meritorious service while engaged in military operations against Viet Cong forces. With the support of the love of his life Mary, who preceded him into the Lord’s hands, he served this country for 30 years before retiring on Dec. 31, 1977, at Norton A.F.B. He is survived by his 4 children: Nicolas Jr. (Lorene) Molisani, NY; Kathy (Paul) Swogger, Highland; Patricia (Steve) Parker, San Bernardino; Tana (Chris) Hosey, San Bernardino; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; family & friends. Viewing and Rosary will be Tuesday, Dec. 12, 5-7p.m., Bobbitt Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 13, 11a.m., Bobbitt Memorial Chapel, with graveside services to follow at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:01p.m. A celebration of life to follow at the home of Paul & Kathy Swogger.
