Brenda Jeanne Granado

September 20, 1970 - February 11, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Granado announce her passing. Brenda, 47 of Redlands, suddenly passed away on February 11, 2018, at her home in Redlands. Brenda grew up in Colton, in the home where her parents still reside. She graduated from Colton High School in 1988 and later San Bernardino Valley College with an Associate’s Degree. She worked for the Colton Unified School District as a teacher at San Salvador Preschool. She then went to work for the San Bernardino County Juvenile Probation Department as a Probation Corrections Officer. She more recently worked as a Realtor, having worked for Century 21 previously and her current employer, Keller Williams Realty out of Redlands. Brenda had a passion for her community and was involved in several different organizations. She was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Post 421 in Highland, the Colton Rotary Club, Habitat for Humanity, the Redlands Bowl and the East Valley Association of Realtors, to name a few. She loved the outdoors, especially hiking and running and loved to attend any events or games her nephews were involved in. She will be forever remembered by her parents Frank and Terry Granado, her brother and sister-in-law Marco and Bernadette Granado, and her four nephews Jacob, Jared, Jason, and Justin, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins; godparents, godsons and many friends. On Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, there will be a visitation at Bobbitt Memorial Chapel from 5pm to 8pm . (The Rosary will begin at 7pm.) There will be a celebration of life church service at 10am on Thursday, March 1 at The Rock Church in San Bernardino and a celebration of life reception at 1:00pm at the Elks Lodge in Redlands.
