I met Sonny in Junior high school and then on to High school At SBHS we spent a lot of time together , I used to meet up with Sonny as he was getting off work at His family’s business El Chico’s on Highland ave and we would walk to the Y-dance at Perris Hill and walk home afterwards , when we turned 16 we would take many trips to the Beach some times camping in the car over night , We double date on a couple prom nights and had so much fun in High School and almost every night cruising Est , We both avoided the draft by enlisting ,I went Navy he went Air Force when he was stationed at Clark AFB Philippines my ship Was in Olongapo for a few days I was able to make it up to see him ( what a memory) he new everybody in the small town and they knew him wow what a party for a few days . After the service we were room mates a few time , many fun Trips ,Mexico, Beach’s , traveling California in a camper truck , Las Vagas and the River , many fun Memories . R.I.P.
