May and Jay,
I am so deeply sorry for your lost. I began working with Merelynn in Irvine in 1993. We became fast friends because he was such a loving person. I was pregnant with my third child and when Merelynn joined our carpool. I was the driver because at the time my husband was going to school, money was tight and I drove because I could not afford to pay. But Merelynn told me "Awe Kid, I'll drive and pay, Victor is not going kill me for letting something happen to you". That's is the kind of loving heart he had. Merelynn would come to my desk at end of the day and say "Kid go throw up, we gotta go in ten minutes". I was also graced with the opportunity to meet Bing, who was just as sweet and kind as Merelynn. We were invited to their home, Bing had hand made a blanket for our fourth child. When we went over to get the blanket Bing asked could I bring the kids over for her to babysit. She just hugged them and made us feel so welcome. Merelynn and Bing were a blessing to my life that I will always treasure. I am heart broken that they are gone. But I find joy is the everlasting grace that they will be reunited in Heaven and walk around heaven day. I never had the pleasure of meeting either of you, but Merelynn talked about you two all the time. He was so proud of you both and loved you so much. May you find your strength in God and remember all the wonderful years and times you shared with two wonderful parents.
May God be with you all,
Pamela Carter
