Art,
You will be missed. An ardent USC fan and alumni. We will miss you at the Sheraton 4 Points and our lively political discussions will continue. You were always kind and full of wisdom beyond your time.
May you find eternal peace and the rest you so deserve.
Your friend "from back east",
David Mazzotta

My condolences go out to the family of Art Garcia...a dedicated neighbor of sixteen years. Art was also a devout Catholic who strived for peace and harmony. He left "footprints" on my heart that can never be erased. I will miss him.

We moved into Doverwood West just a year ago and had the pleasure of being welcomed to the building by Art. While we only knew him a short time, his knowledge, dedication and gentle spirit were always evident.
We will miss you, Art.

I have known Art for many years and found him to be a good friend. Art helped me in so many ways and I am glad that I was able to help him when he needed it. His counsel and advice as to Homeowner business was vital. His dedication to Homeowner business was admirable. My friend and neighbor is gone and I mourn his loss.

I will always keep in my heart the quiet helpful man who we liked very much with Michel, my late husband. Art was always helpful, kind and caring. He was a good listener and gave useful advice. I am sure God greeted him with open arms and he is in peace for all eternity.

Art and I were neighbors and Association Board members for many years, yet I didn't know him well until his serious illness some years ago. I marveled as he recuperated and became an active senior again. I am glad that I was able to assist him during that process. Art showed his determination in many ways and although cantankerous and stubborn as hell, Art always had the interests of others as his motivation. His later years were spent in caring for our building and working on the Association Board. He is much appreciated for his efforts and will be sorely missed. I'm pleased that I knew him.
