I have such happy memories of the years working with Arlene at Alessandro. She was the clerk for the GATE teachers, but always made the time to help every teacher. Her desk in the B-wing was a daily stop for a chat. Being from Massachusetts myself, her accent always made me feel like I wasn't far from "home". She spoke of Ed and her family with such pride. I remember the Christmas parties where she volunteered Ed to provide his DJ services! I last saw Arlene in 2018 and remember how she hadn't seemed to age at all. I will always remember Arlene with a smile and kind words.
