Al Lambert was born in Seattle, WA on September 5, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2010. He was the grandson of Sam Skaggs, the patriarch of the family that founded Safeway stores. He will be buried in American F Read Obituary
I still smile when I think of your dad, then a retired Baptist Minister, carrying a gun around the night of the L.A. Riot in '92. He was a colorful individual, determined to keep the peace. I have been encouraged to know that there are people like your dad who love the Lord with great enthusiasm! Nils and I both understand what you are feeling at this loss!!! Wow, 61 years together, I didn't realize it was that long...doesn't it go by quickly?! Yet, you have packed soooo much into those years, and been a blessing to so many people!

We have fond memories of time spend with Uncle Al & Aunt Edie & the kids, our cousins, over the past years. Uncle Al was always so jubilant & colorful & fun to be with. He will be missed.
