Lyle Cuthrell, 73, a resident of Highland for 40 years, passed away Monday, November 19, 2007. A native of Iowa, Lyle was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He served as a Deputy Public Guardian with the County of San Bernardino Read Obituary
My condolences to Lyle's family... Lyle was such a great guy, all us girls worked with him at the Public Guardian's Office years ago and we just loved him... Wonderful Man, I was blessed to have him as my friend.

When I went out walking Lyle would pull up along side me in his truck or vet and say, "Hey, baby wanna go to a party!" When we worked together he took me around the side streets every where we went while out in the field. How do you think I found out where Mentone was! Lyle greatest love was his son Cully and grand son Christopher. I didn't know any of his other grand children but I'm sure he loved being grandpa to all of the kids. He was the most helpful man I knew. Back in the day he could fix anything and he did. I didn't sleep in my room for three nights until that mouse was caught in the trap Lyle set! He even came over and gave the mouse a "proper" burial. I will truly miss you Lyle. ##imported-begin##Bunnie Riker##imported-end##
Our condolences to Lyle's family. Although we didn't have occasion to speak that often, Lyle was always pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. He was a good neighbor, and a good man. At night now, when I look across the street and see the light that has been left on, I'll think of your Dad and ask God to Bless him on his spirtual journey. God Bless you all in this time of sadness.
