Making Your Own Decisions
Catherine Soto
Why do so many adults let other people do their thinking for them?
As adolescents we spent the majority of our time attempting to convince the ‘grown ups’ around us we were perfectly capable of making our own decisions. But when we are ‘grown ups’ we leave one of the most important and critical decisions to other people!
Most people don’t like to think about their own mortality, but, just a sure as we all grew up, we will also all take that final step.
Americans are learning it is critical to make our final wishes known ahead of time, and to do it in writing. You owe it to yourself and to your loved ones. Don’t leave one of the most important decisions of your life to people who are caught up in the turmoil of emotions that accompanies a loss.
How are they going to know your wishes unless you’ve told them and prepared a plan? Arranging your funeral in advance offers peace of mind to you and to your loved ones. Call me today to discuss ‘making your own decisions’.
